Hansika Motwani is an Indian actress who was born in Mumbai on the 9^th day of August 1991. She was the daughter of Mona Motwani and Pradeep Motwani. Her father is known as Pradeep Motwani was a business man in Mumbai while her mother, Mona Motwani was a dermatologist. Her brother is known as Prashant Motwani. The Motwani’s are a Sindhi speaking family. Hansika can speak four different languages.

These are Telugu, English, Hindi and Tulu. She studied at Pedar International School and the International Curriculum School both located in her hometown of Mumbai. Her family are firm Buddhist believers. Buddhism is the second largest religion practiced in India short of Hinduism. Just like her family and other Buddhists she is a firm believer in the well-being of humanity and advocates for zero use of violence. Hansika began her debut in the acting industry at a very young age. She featured in an Indian series known as Shaka Laka Boom Boom. Between the years 2001 and 2005, she acted in another Indian series named Des Mein Nikita Hoga Chand. Her contribution in this film enabled her bag the the Favorite Child Award at the Star Parivaar Awards. Hansika also appeared as one of the children actors in Koi Mil Goya and Hrithik Rashan. She made her official debut to the Film and Acting industry at a tender age of 16. She was one of the lead roles in a Telugu film known as Desamudum. She won the FilmFare Award for Best Female Debut in the southern part of India. She became, for the first time, the lead actress in the film Aap Kaa Surrair.
